BURLINGTON, Vt. — Two local students received their degrees at Champlain College’s 138th Commencement May 14, 2016: Kayleigh Arthur of Woodstock Valley and Amanda Wedegis of Pomfret Center.

WILLIMANTIC — Every year, the Eastern Writers Guild, a student-run club at Eastern Connecticut State University, publishes “Eastern Exposure,” a student literary journal that showcases fiction, poetry, plays, scripts and other types of creative writing. Sean Gilmartin ’16 of Eastford, who majors in English, is featured in this year’s journal. Gilmartin’s piece is titled “A Hint of Cold.”

WILLIMANTIC — Nicollette Aranibar ’16 of Woodstock was one of the inductees in the Eastern Connecticut State University’s chapter of Phi Alpha, the national social work honor society.
 
Dean’s list
WILLIMANTIC — Eastern Connecticut State University recently released its Dean’s List for the spring 2016 semester for part-time students: Adelle Adams ’16 of Danielson, major is General Studies; Lisa Mazzola ’15 of Putnam, major is Psychology; Derek Bleau ’16 of Quinebaug, major is Communication.

BANGOR, Maine — Two local students were named to the Spring 2016 President’s List at Husson University: Gregory Pike of Pomfret Center, a senior who is currently enrolled in Husson’s Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology-Human Movement Science and Doctor of Physical Therapy program; and Kristin Loghry of Pascoag, RI is a junior who is currently enrolled in Husson’s Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Studies and Master of Science in Occupational Therapy program.

CASTLETON, Vt. — Two local students were named to the Castleton University Dean’s List for the spring semester of the 2015-16 academic year: Kaetlyn Collins of Danielson and Francesca Iacobucci of Woodstock.
