Information sought on truck vs. pole
Putnam Police Captain Justin D. Lussier said police are seeking information on a pickup vs. pole accident April 30 at the corner of Davis Street and Laconia Avenue.
Both police and the Putnam Fire Department responded as it involved a snapped utility pole and downed wires.
Lussier said it a full-sized blue pickup truck operated by a white male was traveling northbound on Davis Street when for unknown reasons the truck struck the utility pole at the corner of Davis Street and Laconia Avenue. The blue pickup truck then fled the scene. The truck is believed to have front end damage as a result of the accident.
Eversource worked on the pole and downed wires while Davis Street from Walnut Street to Thayer Street was closed.
