PUTNAM —  Grades two through 12 will go remote Dec. 10 through Jan. 11. K-1 will shift to remote Dec. 21 to Jan. 11.
During the temporary school closures, the Putnam Public School Food Service Department will be distributing free meals at the Putnam Middle School parking lot from 2:45 to 3:15 p.m. Dec. 11, Dec. 18, Dec. 23, Dec. 30 and Jan. 7.
The student will receive seven breakfast and seven lunch meals. This is offered to any child 18 years and younger. Child does not need to be present. No ID required. Meals will be distributed in a drive-thru method; you will not be entering into the school building. Please wear your masks when approaching the drive-thru line.
Free Delivery if Needed
If you are unable to access meals, the department will be offering Doorstep Food Delivery. The meals will be distributed between 10:30 and 11:30 a.m. Dec. 15, Dec. 18, Dec. 22, Dec. 29, Jan. 5 and Jan. 8. It is very important that meals are refrigerated as soon as delivery is made.
