Rotary Day
of Service
The Putnam Rotary Club and the Interact Club joined forces on April 9 to celebrate the Rotary Day of Service.  Rotarians and Interact members, braving the wind and rain, collected five large boxes of toiletry items to be used to make kits for the homeless and assist TEEG, Daily Bread and the local shelters. In addition, according to Putnam Rotary Club President J. Scott Pempek, over $1,100 in monetary donations were collected.  Inside WINY Radio, Interact members were creating tie-dyed socks to be sold at their Relay For Life booth on June 4 at Roseland Park.  Taking part that day were: Pempek, Karen Osbrey, Pam Brown, Woody Durst, Roberta Rocchetti, Marc Archambault, John Miller, Elizabeth Williams, Delpha Very and Joe Adiletta; plus Interactors: Amayah Chavez, Emily St. Martin, Sierra Girard, Lucas Cornell, Iayah Burke and Mikayla Walford.
