More than $13,000 was raised at the 2022 Putnam Lions Volleyball Challenge fund-raiser recently.
The money will benefit the 40-plus organizations to which the Putnam Lions Club donates. These funds were distributed during the club’s annual Night of Giving.
The Corporate Division competes for a cash prize and a travelling trophy and the winning team was the Vertically Challenged team.
The Lions Club thanked all who made the fund-raiser a success including: Diamond sponsor, KARS of Putnam; our Platinum sponsor: Day Kimball Hospital; gold sponsors: Spirol International Corp, Hallisey & D’Agostino LLP, Rawson Materials; gold sponsors with teams: Archambault Insurance Associates, Byrnes Insurance Agency, Dave and Eileen Stuyniski; silver sponsors WINY Radio, Gerardi Insurance Services Inc, Woodstock Building Associates, National Chromium Company, Bachand, Longo and Higgins and more than 40 additional sponsors. The club gave a special thanks go to the Putnam High School girls’ volleyball team, who did the refereeing for the entire tournament and the Putnam II Leo Club for helping with set-up and breakdown.
