The Town of Putnam is seeking a Town Clerk certified by the Connecticut Town Clerks Association (CTCA). This position will report to the Town Administrator and will coordinate with the Mayor and various Town Committees including the Board of Selectmen. This position performs a variety of professional, technical, supervisory, and administrative work in performing day to day operations, in compliance with Federal, State, and local regulations and requirements.  
This part-time position is a salaried position, based on a typical 20-hour work week schedule. There are no health, dental or other benefits with this position. Vacation, personal leave, and sick leave accruals are applicable. This position may be eligible for modification to a full-time position with applicable salary adjustments, as may be applicable by future negotiation between the Town and individual.
