Funding sought for
service dog training
Having just been accepted into a Service Dog Training program called Educated Canines Assisting with Disabilities Alisha Schutrick, who struggles with various syndromes, is fund-raising for a service dog they are raising and training to assist her – trained with specific skills.
She said, “During my wait time we are asked to assist with fund-raising to help with counterbalancing the cost of raising, training of the dogs, and housing the handlers for a two-week training. My goal is $25,000. I was hoping that in addition to donations I would be able to collect bottles and cans to assist with the fund-raising.”
