Solomon family donates to DKH
NE CT cancer fund
PUTNAM — The Northeast Connecticut Cancer Fund of Day Kimball Healthcare was the recent recipient of a $2,000 donation by the Solomon family in memory of their family member and 2018 NECT Cancer Fund Angel Ambassador, Shannon Labonte.
She died of a rare form of cancer on April 27, 2018.  Kristen Willis, director of Development, said: “The Solomon family’s ongoing support has been instrumental in keeping Shannon’s memory alive and aiding those in need through the NECT Cancer Fund of DKH. Their dedication is deeply appreciated, and we express our deepest gratitude for their generosity and commitment to supporting the NECT Cancer Fund of DKH. This fund provides financial assistance to residents of northeastern Connecticut who may not have the financial resources to access necessary medical care.”
