WATERFORD — Charter Oak Federal Credit Union is again the Number 1 mortgage lender in eastern Connecticut, according to 2014 figures compiled by The Warren Group, earning the top ranking for an unprecedented five years in a row.
 “Being the Number 1 lender in eastern Connecticut for five consecutive years is a major milestone, and it’s a very proud achievement for all of us at Charter Oak,” said Brian A. Orenstein, Charter Oak’s CEO. 
Charter Oak held the top ranking in residential mortgage transactions in New London and Windham counties combined in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014, based on The Warren Group’s data.
Based on The Warren Group’s Residential Mortgage Marketshare Report for 2014, Charter Oak originated close to 1,000 mortgages in New London and Windham counties.
 
 
BROOKLYN — Jennifer Lalumiere has been promoted to branch supervisor of the Brooklyn Office of The Citizens National Bank. Lalumiere joined the bank in November 2014 as the assistant branch manager of the Woodstock Office. Her previous banking experience includes working as a Customer Service Representative and Teller Manager with another institution. 
A graduate of Killingly High School, she also attended Huntington Institute INC where she earned a diploma in Administrative Office Technology. In her new role Jen is looking forward to getting to know the customers that live in the Brooklyn area and being involved in various events held in the community. 
Lalumiere is an active member of the South Eastern Connecticut Services for the Blind, who work closely with the New London Lions Club. She lives in Killingly with her family.
 
 
 
PUTNAM — Raymond Perry, AVP – Investment Services, Putnam Bank Investment Executive, was recently honored with a 2014 Five Star Wealth Manager Award. He is a four-year winner. This award is the largest and most widely published financial services award program in North America. Candidates are nominated by their firms and peers and evaluated against 10 objective eligibility and evaluation criteria.
Perry has been an employee of Putnam Bank through Infinex Financial Group for 10 years and works with retirement accounts, mutual funds, annuities, life insurance, long-term care insurance and stocks and bonds.

PUTNAM — When someone’s primary responsibility is to be sure a health care organization follows mandated specifications for its facility maintenance and equipment inspections and testing, it’s important to be very sure you have the right person in the job. In her role as Facilities Administrative Assistant Mary Perry is that person at Day Kimball Hospital, and she’s Day Kimball Healthcare’s Employee of the Month. 
Perry, who joined Day Kimball in 2012, focuses on compliance documentation required by such institutions as The Joint Commission, State of Connecticut, Department of Health and Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA). 
Perry is a resident of Plainfield, where she has lived most of her life. She has two children and four grandchildren.
