NEW LONDON --- Audrey Wayman, a member of the class of 2015 at Connecticut College and a resident of Eastford, has been named to the Dean’s High Honors list for the 2012 fall semester.

On dean's list
EASTON, Penn. --- Shay Gingras of Eastford has been named to the 2012 fall semester Dean’s List at Lafayette College. To qualify for Dean’s List, a student must achieve at least a 3.60 semester grade point average out of a possible 4.0. Shay is a graduate of Pomfret School.

Playoffs began this week and only two teams remained after last Tuesdays games. UNFRIENDED entered as the number one seed and advanced to the championship game through hard fought games this week. Also, UNFRIENDED was tested by Blackout and won a close game 64 to 60 with the help of the league’s leading scorer Alvin Durrette scoring a game-high 24 points. Last Thursday Durrette picked up where he left off scoring 38 points to lead his team to the championship. Joining them in the final game will be The Dream Team.
