Scholarship winners
WOODSTOCK — The Senexet Grange recently presented scholarships to deserving graduates.
The Senexet Grange #40 annually awards the John F. Duffy Memorial Scholarship to deserving students who are preparing for a career in the fields of agriculture, environmental sciences, family studies or human services and the Helena B. Duffy Memorial Scholarship to deserving students who are preparing for a career in the fields of accounting, computer science or business management John and Helena Duffy are past members who set aside the endowment for the purpose of future scholarships. This year Senexet Grange awarded four $1000 scholarships to very deserving graduates.
The John F. Duffy Memorial Scholarships in the amount of $1000 were awarded to Xandar Miller to UConn to study engineering and Kaelyn Tremblay to Wentworth Institute of Technology to study engineering
The Helena B. Duffy Memorial Scholarships in the amount of $1000 were awarded to Eva Monahan to Rhode Island College to study business and sports management Emily Jurnovoy to Auburn University to study business.
