'Charlie Brown' coming
THOMPSON --- Marianapolis Drama Club will perform the musical comedy “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown” at 7 p.m. May 20 and 21 in the school’s Chapel. The public is invited and admission is free. The play is based on the characters created by cartoonist Charles M. Schultz in his world-famous “Peanuts” comic strip.
Cast of performers are: Charlie Brown - Malcolm MacGannon; Lucy - Lillie Irwin; Snoopy - Joy Richmond; Linus - David Rawls; Schroeder - Megan McDermott; Sally - Virginia Eliya; Little Red Headed Girl - Caroline Russell; Frieda - Ariana Wood. Book, Music and Lyrics by Clark Gesner. Additional Dialogue by Michael Mayer. Additional Music and Lyrics by Andrew Lippa. The Marianapolis production is directed by Bob Sloat with music direction by Stephen Thompson and choreography by Leslie Snow
