ROGERS --- Rogers Corporation announced the 2010 Rogers Golf Classic to be held on Sept. 19 at the Connecticut National Golf Club in Putnam. All proceeds will benefit the Special Olympics of Quinebaug Valley Connecticut.
“Many of our employees are passionately involved in a number of Special Olympic activities, from volunteering to family members participating as athletes,” says Peter Kaczmarek, senior vice president at Rogers Corporation. “This is a great way for us to come together as a Rogers family and support an organization that sponsors over 250 athletes in both traditional and unified teams.”
The shot gun start will begin at 1:30 p.m. and teams of four, which will include at least one Rogers player, will embark on an afternoon of challenging golf followed by dinner, raffle drawings and an awards ceremony.
