bankHometown promotes Howard
PUTNAM — bankHometown recently promoted Jason Howard to branch manager, based in its Sturbridge office.
Howard, of Woodstock, has more than eight years of banking experience. He joined bankHometown in 2017 as a float teller, was promoted to assistant branch manager in 2018, and has worked in the Thompson and Putnam offices throughout his time at the bank. He most recently served as senior assistant branch manager at the bank’s 182 Main St., Putnam, office.
In this new leadership role, Howard will oversee the daily operations of the branch, ensuring exceptional customer service while driving business growth. He will be responsible for leading and developing the branch team, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, managing branch performance, and building strong relationships within the community.
Howard earned a bachelor’s degree in history from Central Connecticut State University, and a master’s degree in education from Quinnipiac University. He is currently a member of the Putnam Business Association and was inducted as a Lion to the Putnam Lions Club in May of 2024.
