DANIELSON — The Last Green Valley, Inc. has moved its offices temporarily to Quinebaug Valley Community College. TLGV had to vacate its offices in downtown Danielson as the landlord undertakes remediation of asbestos and mold in the building.

PUTNAM — Amy Day was named Putnam Bank’s Employee of the Month for May 2019. Day has been with the bank since September 2013, and currently serves as floating head teller/CSR.
She said, “Wow, this was really unexpected, but a nice surprise.”
Day participates in the Norwich Rock the Docks, charitable motorcycle runs, and supports numerous military organizations such as the Navy and Marine Core Relief Society. She has three dogs, and enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, and going on their annual vacation to upper New Hampshire. She also enjoys gardening and canning.
“Amy is an excellent member of our team and exemplifies the best in employee work ethic and enthusiastic volunteerism to help make our community a better place to live and work,” said Thomas A. Borner, president and CEO of Putnam Bank.

Danforth joins
Putnam law firm
PUTNAM --- Attorney Nicholas G. Danforth of Woodstock joined the Putnam law firm of Bachand, Longo & Higgins as an associate attorney. He was sworn in as a member of the Connecticut Bar on May 13, 2019, and is also admitted to practice in Massachusetts.
Danforth graduated from Woodstock Academy, received his bachelor's from UConn in 2015 and a juris doctorate degree from the University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law in 2018. He also earned additional certificates in intellectual property law and sports law.
While at law school he served as the managing editor of the UNH Law Review and completed internships with Hewlett Packard Enterprise and the Charlotte Hornets of the NBA.
He will concentrate his practice on providing practical and effective legal advice on legal matters including commercial and residential real estate, estates and probate, business organization and planning, and all civil matters.
The firm of Bachand, Longo & Higgins has served the legal needs of residents of northeastern Connecticut since 1935.
