In addition bulky items like furniture, tires, construction debris, mattresses, etc., were collected. The volunteers separated nip bottles again. In a two-hour period 1,543 nip bottles were collected in a small area of downtown Putnam. Trophy winners include: Most Nips Collected: Team Gerardi Insurance; Best Team: Young Marines; Most Spirited: Boy Scouts; Most Unique Item Found: A vacuum by Team DKH at Home.
