PUTNAM — A Thompson man was arrested on drug charges Jan. 5 on School Street.
Putnam Police said about 5:45 p.m. they responded to the area of 142 School St. for the report of narcotic activity. Officers found a parked motor vehicle operated by Jeffrey LaBonte, 38, of 141 Church St., Thompson.
Officers seized approximately 5.2 grams of suspected fentanyl among other various items of drug paraphernalia.
LaBonte was charged with possession of narcotics, possession of narcotics with intent to sell, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
