PUTNAM — Barbara Rasmussen was named Putnam Bank’s Employee of the Month for November 2019.
Rasmussen has been with the bank since September 1986, and currently serves as assistant treasurer and assistant controller.
She said, “I am surprised and honored to be chosen as the employee of the month. I am grateful to work with a great group of friends who have become family over the years.”
She is a past committee member for both Day Kimball Heathcare’s Walk & Race for NECT Cancer Fund and their D’Vine Wine Tasting events.
She has participated in the Beat Breast Cancer 5K and the Northeast Opportunities for Wellness Road Race & Walk.
She also spends time supporting the Brooklyn Elementary School along with their PTO, and the Brooklyn Recreation Department.
Rasmussen enjoys spending time with Samantha, Stephen, Nova, and Sidney.
She loves watching her grandchildren play sports, taking them on vacation, as well as watching movies and playing games with them.
She also enjoys walking, hiking, and reading in her spare time.
“Barbara has done a remarkable job over her many years at Putnam Bank. It’s my distinct pleasure to recognize her exemplary work ethic and pleasant demeanor in all that’s she has done for the bank,” said Thomas A. Borner, president and CEO of Putnam Bank.
