Leaves crash scene
PUTNAM — A juvenile was issued a summons after leaving the scene of an accident Oct. 31 at the intersection of Church and Providence streets.
Putnam Police Department Chief Christopher D. Ferace said a 2017 Toyota Camry operated by Vera Kustov of Putnam was traveling southbound on Church Street and while going through the intersection of Providence Street, a vehicle made a left turn in front of her, colliding with her; then fled.
The evading vehicle was located a short time later on Vandale Street in Putnam and identified as 2011 Ford Escape, operated by a 17-year-old juvenile.  
The juvenile was issued a juvenile summons.
Putnam EMS responded to the scene; however no medical transports were done.  The Putnam Fire Department also responded to the scene to assist with traffic and fluids in the roadway.
