SPECIAL TOWN MEETING
JUNE 25, 2026
The legal voters and citizens qualified to vote in Town Meeting of the Town of Pomfret are hereby warned to meet at the Pomfret Community School, 10 Pomfret Street, Pomfret, Connecticut on Thursday, June 25, 2026 at 6:30 P.M. to act upon the following articles:
Article 1: To choose a Moderator for said meeting.
Article 2: To see if the Town will approve a 25-year lease agreement with Greenskies Clean Energy for a 5 megawatt solar project on approximately 25 acres of land located at 434 Killingly Road. Presentation by Titan Energy prior to discussion.
Article 3: To see if the Town will approve a Special appropriation not to exceed the amount of $185,000 (One hundred eighty-five thousand dollars) to the Board of Education for over-expenditures in the 2025/2026 fiscal year.
