VOLUNTOWN --- The Last Green Valley’s Free Ranger Talk will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Voluntown Public Library. Chief Ranger Bill's Talk will speak on "On The Wild Side: Exploring the Flora and Fauna of The Last Green Valley."
 
Art Exhibit
POMFRET --- The Connecticut Audubon Society at Pomfret Center will present an exhibit and sale, "Playful Celebration of a Bountiful Terrain," photography by Virge Lorents through Jan. 30 at the center on Day Road. A portion of all sales benefits the center. Free. 928-4948.

Adventure
THOMPSON --- Ranger Marcy’s Acorn Adventure: Try the Tri-State Marker will be presented from 1 to 3 p.m. along the Air Line Trail in Thompson, then take the trail up to the Tri-State Marker, where we can be in three states all at the same time - CT, MA, and RI. Dogs on leashes welcome, but please be prepared to clean up after your dog. Meet at E. Thompson Rd. & New Rd.  Extreme weather (snow, ice, rain) will cancel this event.  Cancellation will be noted on The Last Green Valley’s Facebook page.

Flu Vaccination
BROOKLYN --- The Northeast District Department of Health on South Main Street will hold a Flu Vaccination Clinic for children and adults from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.  Medicare and most insurances accepted, or pay only $30 by cash or check.
